Talent Search
Talent Search (TS) is a federally funded TRIO program designed to encourage students in grades 6-12 to complete high school and enter college. TS distributes information and promotes skills necessary for successfully entering college and completing a baccalaureate degree. Students are prepared for the rigors of higher education and entering into the workforce through the emphasis placed on personal development, career exploration, financial literacy, academic skills, and ACT readiness through college preparatory workshops. TS representatives help students achieve these goals through services provided at schools in Montgomery, Polk, and Scott Counties.
The Talent Search program at University of Arkansas Rich Mountain is funded in total (100%) by federal grant funding from the U.S. Department of Education, with an annual budget of $377,231.
