Mission

The UA Rich Mountain Department of Lifelong Learning is designed to build on the college mission of providing transformative education to all learners by offering courses tailored to the community based on prevailing needs communicated through community members.

Continuing Education

Lifelong Learning is an ongoing activity with the aim of improving personal and/or professional knowledge, skills, and competence. The College's Department of Lifelong Learning is dedicated to providing youth and adult learners with experiences that develop curiosity, independence, and initiative. Our programs encourage, stimulate, and empower individuals to attain knowledge and skills with confidence and enjoyment. The Department is dedicated to working with the community to build skills and motivation that support learning throughout life.

About the Classes

The Department of Lifelong Learning offers non-credit courses during the academic year. All academic policies apply to the Department of Lifelong Learning. Customized trainings can be tailored to suit the needs of community partners. 

Cost and Attendance

Tuition and fees are based upon the type of training. Tuition is due at registration. Refunds for noncredit classes will apply only if the class is canceled. Students who fail to attend regularly are dropped from the class. The tuition waiver policy for age 60+ does not apply to Lifelong Learning classes.
