What is a UA Rich Mountain Ambassador?

Student Ambassadors are student spokespersons for the college. Under the supervision of the Recruiter, the ambassadors will help with campus events, work in the admissions office, and attend recruitment activities off campus. An ambassador must have attended one of UA Rich Mountain’s seven service area schools (Acorn, Caddo Hills, Cossatot River, Mena, Mt. Ida, Oden, or Waldron) or be a nontraditional student. Home school graduates from Scott, Polk and Montgomery counties are also welcome to apply! Ambassadors will recruit future ambassadors to take their place after graduation. Ambassadors must excel in their academics, display campus pride, and possess great communication skills.

Student Ambassador Hannah Bell

Meet Student Ambassador Hannah Bell!
Major: Associate of General Studies
Post Graduation Plans: Transfer to UA Cossatot to pursue a degree as Physical Therapist Assistant and eventually attend Physical Therapy School.
Hobbies: Hannah enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Hannah decided to join the UARM Ambassador program to share with high school students the amazing opportunities here at UA Rich Mountain from degree programs to student life activities. She wants to convene to others in her area the benefits of attending UA Rich Mountain such as the low student/teacher ratio, financial aid benefits, and free tutoring services.

UA Rich Mountain was top on Hannah’s list because it is close to home and so affordable. She has received support and encouragement not only from faculty members but other staff as well. Hannah was also excited about the student life happening on campus. Not only the Ambassador program but the fun dance parties and big money bingo events. The free food and swag are also a plus for college going students.
