SGA officers meet several times throughout the fall and spring semesters. If you would like to receive information about SGA events email us.

SGA plans and organizes events for student life on campus at UA Rich Mountain. 

Some of the events for the past year included big money bingo, spring fling water wars, trivia nights, volleyball tournaments, foot tennis tournaments, casino nights, finals snacks and energy drinks, theme games, cookouts, lots of free food, and leadership trips to the Arkansas State Capitol and more.

Not only does SGA plan events on campus, these student leaders learn valuable skills organizing, planning, and negotiating entertain and/or venues for each event. SGA officers are also given an opportunity to attend special conferences to help them gain these skills needed for planning and hosting events.

The SGA shall serve as the student governance vehicle for UA Rich Mountain. The SGA shall represent, lead and, unify the student body; aid the college in its large purposes of education; make recommendations concerning student issues to the UA Rich Mountain administration; act as a means of preserving and attaining the well-being of the college community; encouraging enthusiastic school support.

Student Government is ran by appointed students to represent and serve the UA Rich Mountain student body and be proactive in sponsoring and hosting events and activities.
